Measure what changes. Learn from what doesn’t.
AFG follows the pathway Access → Engagement → Capability → Transition → Longer-term impact. We track progress at every stage — and we distinguish clearly between targets, current outputs and verified outcomes.
Five stages. One continuous path.
Every AFG program reports against the same five-stage pathway. This is what we measure — and what we publish as it becomes verified.

Targets are not results.
AFG does not publish numbers we cannot verify. Where a figure is a target, we label it as a target. Where a result is verified, we publish it. Where we have no data yet, we say so.
Nothing to publish yet
AFG launched in 2025 and early cohorts are still underway. Once results are documented, they will be published here.
Targets for early cohorts
Where program targets exist (enrollment, completion, participation), they will be clearly labeled as targets — never presented as achieved results.
Measurement infrastructure
We are building the systems that will collect, verify and report outcomes responsibly — with consent, safeguarding and data protection in place first.
AFG’s published figures follow strict verification rules. We do not publish unverified beneficiary statistics, historic targets presented as results, fabricated testimonials, or claims of guaranteed outcomes.
Real people. Verified stories.
Every story published here will be from a real participant, shared with written consent, and cleared against our safeguarding review.
Our measurement discipline.
Six rules that govern every published figure and every story we tell.
-
Verify before publishing
No figure is published until it is documented and reviewed.
-
Label targets as targets
Historic targets are never presented as achieved results.
-
Consent for every story
Participants opt in — nothing is published without written consent.
-
Protect youth data
No public participant profiles for minors, ever.
-
Report against indicators
Every program reports against agreed indicators, not vague claims.
-
Learn from what doesn’t
We publish what works — and what we learned from what didn’t.
